Ghana WAEC on withheld results of 81 SHS

The Principal Public Relations Officer of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Mrs. Agnes Teye Cudjoe, says the withholding of results of 81 schools comprising about 23,000 candidates for malpractices is by far the largest.

She however maintains that the decision is not yet conclusive since investigations are still ongoing.

Mrs. Cudjoe said the results of the 81 schools were withheld to allow for scrutiny so that the release of the entire results is not delayed unnecessarily.

She was speaking on Radio Ghana's current affairs programme, Behind the News in Accra.
