OSCOED Ila Orangun To Re-open On Jan. 7th After The School Closure Due To Students' Protest

The ongoing strike of Osun State College Of Education, Ila Orangun, was signed to stop on the 7th of January 2013.

According to the news, the incident which brought about the ongoing strike was said to have been caused by an accident that occured on 17th on October, 2012 which lead to the death of the students of the school that involved and eventually the called of all the students to protest.

The students, while on the rally of protest, damaged so many things including FRSC patrol Van. All these made the governing council committe of OSSCE ILA ORANGUN, to close the school for security purposes.

All students, and staff of the school is expected to resume on that date mentioned.
